Big West Rotaract offers hosting for Rotaract Club & District websites through Amazon or Google. The web hosting program is paired with our Google Ad Grant to promote your site and bring new web visitors.
Amazon Web Services
Big West Rotaract offers free hosting for Wordpress sites through Amazon Web Services.
Wordpress Multisite Networks also allow clubs to create their own website on their district's domain.
Participating Districts must nominate a Digital Services Coordinator to assist with the management of the AWS virtual services & Wordpress admin dashboard.
Google Sites
For districts & clubs seeking a simpler website builder, Google Sites offers a user experience similar to Wix or Weebly. Google Sites allows for a quick & easy website build that is aesthetically appealing and requires minimal maintenance. As a G-Suite participant, club & district sites can utilize custom domains.
Example: dei.bigwestrotaract.org was built using Google Sites. While most of bigwestrotaract.org is wordpress, certain subdomains have been built in Google Sites, including this one!
Google Ad Grant
Big West Rotaract Foundation has received a generous ad grant from Google for $120,000 of search engine advertising. This grant will enable our organization to promote Rotaract region-wide by driving web traffic to club & district websites. Websites hosted by BWR servers are eligible to participate (upon completion of Google's website qualifications).
