Video Conferencing

Big West Rotaract Foundation is pleased to offer two video conferencing platforms for virtual meetings. By using our business level tools, member districts can avoid the constraints of time limits or maximum participants imposed in the free versions.

Google Meet

Google Meet is a video conferencing service developed by Google. It has many of the same functionalities as Zoom.

Big West Rotaract G-Suite program accounts enjoy access to enterprise features, including live stream, screen share, & international dial-in numbers. The platform functions best for smaller collaborative activities, such as club meetings, board work sessions, or socials.

Google Meet is available to all G-Suite program users. If your district does not currently participate in the G-Suite program, please contact digitalservices@bigwestrotaract.org to request an account.

Pro Tip: Make sure you use your BWR G-Suite account to create and schedule meetings! Personal GMails do not have access to dial-in numbers and are subject to 1 hour time limit.

Zoom

Big West Rotaract offers access to its Zoom Pro subscriptions on request. Zoom is recommended for special events with audiences greater than 50 participants. The platform offers additional features including breakout rooms & webinar mode to facilitate successful district & multi-district events!

Please complete the request form at least one week prior to your event. Zoom accounts are shared-access and will be provided to member districts if available.

For member districts interested in purchasing their own Zoom license, Big West Rotaract offers accounts at a discounted rate of $90 / year.

Please email digitalservices@bigwestrotaract.org for additional information.
